Lessons to play the bansuri
New beginers can take admission to the academy.

We take a lot of care of the students flute holding as it is very important to achieve good results: perfect tunation, ability to play half notes with perfection (very important for rag like Bhairvi).
They will learn how to hold the flute, to blow and to produce correct sound and notes with the correct technic.

Lessons to learn Indian Classical Music
Beginers will first learn sargams musical exercices. In the first sessions, Raga introduction will be given.
The students will learn the following ragas, in drutlaya and madhyalaya :

• Rag Bhupali
• Rag Durga
• Rag Kafi
• Rag Des
• Rag Bhimpalasi
• Rag Brindabani Sarang
• etc

The main tal studied will be Teental or Japtal.
After completing these ragas, new ragas will be learnt, while these ragas will be studied more in details and in Vilembitlaya in different talas as Ektal, Rupaktal, Mattatal, etc. At this stage you will be an advanced student.

Students are allowed to record the lessons for their study purpose only (minidisc or tape recorder).
